OUR RESTAURANT
Os' Camacheiros is a warm, family-run Portuguese restaurant bringing the flavours of Madeira to the heart of Upnor, Kent. Our mother leads the kitchen with her wonderful team of chefs, preparing each dish with love and tradition. Her children welcome and serve our beautiful guests, creating a cosy, homely atmosphere where everyone is treated like family. We are proud to share a true taste of Madeira with our community, one plate at a time.
OUR KITCHEN
In our kitchen, we celebrate the true flavours of Madeira. Our traditional skewers, called espetadas, are grilled over open flames for a smoky, tender taste. We also serve picados, a classic Madeiran dish perfect for sharing around the table. You’ll find a mix of fresh seafood, fish, lobster and meats, along with baked sweet potato drizzled with sugar cane honey, crispy fried maize (milho frito), comforting caldo verde and much more from our island kitchen.
